Prof. William Putsis, PhD. Faculty Yale School of Management
“Family Offices and Wealth Management Industry - Disrupting Private Wealth Management Models”
Dr. Putsis is Professor of Marketing, Economics and Business Strategy at the Kenan-‐Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolinaat Chapel Hill and Faculty at Yale School of Management, Yale University. Prior to his current position, he was Professor and Department Area Chair atthe London Business School (1997-‐2003), Associate Professor at the Yale School of Management, Yale University (1990-‐1997) and Assistant Professor, Cornell University (1988-‐1990). He has his MS and PhD in Economics from Cornell University. He is also President and CEO of Chestnut Hill Associates, a strategic consulting firm that he founded in 1995 and partner in CADEO Economics, a management consulting firm specializing in using applied game theory to manage and preempt competition.
He has published two books. The first, Compete Smarter, Not Harder: A Process for Developing the Right Priorities Through Strategic Thinking(Wiley, 2014), presents a detailed process, well tested in industry for over 25 years, that focuses on growth through prioritization. Companies using this process successfully in practice are as diverse and varied as The Boeing Company, Owens Corning and Underwriter’s Laboratory. Editors at Amazon named it as a best book in business and leadership. His forthcoming book, The Carrot and the Stick: Leveraging Strategic Control for Growth(University of Toronto Press, 2019), focuses on the two keys to strategy in today’s business interconnected ecosystems: “Strategic Control” and “Vertical Incentive Alignment.”
He has worked with companies throughout the world, including China, India and Europe as well as the United States.His consulting client list includes Underwriter’s Laboratory, the Boeing Company, BASF, SAS, Heinz, John Deere, Baker Hughes International, Owens Corning, Eastman Chemical, Globe Union, AgReliant Genetics, Atkore International, World Kitchen International, Ingersoll Rand, DHL Worldwide, Morgan Stanley, Amcor, BBC World Service, Barclays Bank, Sony Ericsson, Founder Group (方正集团), and Special Olympics International.
He has also taught successful Executive and Full-‐Time MBA courses at top-‐ranked universities in the United States, Europe and China (Yale, Cornell, Columbia, London Business School, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Tsinghua University), winning awards for his executive teaching numerous times. His research and academic pursuits focus on the empirical application of game theoretic models of competition, competitive strategy, the marketing of private label products, new product diffusion and product line strategy. He has over 30 scholarly articles published in journals such as the Journal of Marketing Research, Marketing Science, Journal of Business, Journal of Business Research, Managerial and Decision Economics, Marketing Letters,Applied Economics, Journal of Forecastingand the Review of Industrial Organization.

Nicole DeMeo is an accomplished business launch, growth, scaling and turnaround expert. As a Partner with the Andra Funds, CMO (Chief Marketing Officer), go-to-market strategist, and advisor Nicole works closely with executive teams and boards to guide strategy and growth. A Silicon Valley veteran and global citizen leading teams across the world, she has developed strategies and guided companies and funds through multiple phases of their lifecycles for over 20 years.
She has provided business strategy, fundraising expertise, brand positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategies and marketing for Fortune 500 companies including Apple, HP and Accenture and has expanded on those roles for many high visibility start-ups and venture capital funds. In her career she has helped to raise over $500MM in private and public markets, as a part of executive teams, an advisor or board member.
Her participation in over 50 company launches – including four of her own – created significantly increased valuations, acquisitions and IPOs. Nicole has served as brand ambassador and marketing strategist for industry leaders such as Steve Jobs, Eric Schmidt and Carly Fiorina (with great stories from those days.)
A few notable start-up companies she has worked with include Real Names, When.com, Peak Games, EyeEm and as CMO for of Glispa Global Group. Nicole has worked with several venture funds and incubators including Earlybird Venture Capital, IONIQ (formerly Hitfox Group) and most recently as the Partner and CMO of Andra. She is currently advising and providing C-level strategy to high growth funds and startups including i2Chain, Barnraiser and Hannah Systems.
Carl Riccadonna - Chief U.S. Economist Bloomberg

Carl Riccadonna is the Chief U.S. economist at Bloomberg LP and head of economics research for the Americas. He analyzes macroeconomic developments in order to better understand the implications for the broader economy and monetary policy. As head of the team of US economists, Mr. Riccadonna contributes in-depth analysis of macroeconomic data and trends for the Bloomberg Professional service, the world's most trusted source for real-time and historical financial data, news, research and analytics. Prior to Bloomberg, Mr. Riccadonna spent 13 years as a markets economist at Deutsche Bank.
He started at Deutsche directly from Princeton University, where he studied both mechanical/aerospace engineering and finance. Shortly after joining Deutsche Bank, Carl transitioned from fixed income strategy to U.S. economics research, ultimately assuming the role of Senior U.S. economist.
Mr. Riccadonna has contributed to numerous research publications, maintained a frequent and visible presence with various media outlets and regularly appears as a guest commentator for Bloomberg TV and radio. While at Deutsche, the U.S. Economics team frequently achieved top 5 rankings in the annual Institutional Investor Survey for economic research.
Adriana Dupita - Economist - Brazil and Argentina Bloomberg
Adriana Dupita is an Economist on Bloomberg Intelligence, based in São Paulo, Brazil. She covers the Brazilian and Argentinean economies. She has been working as an economist since 1996, having worked for Santander and Citibank, among other financial institutions and consultancies.
Adriana has a BSc in Economics from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and an MSc in Economics from LSE/University of London.
